Drunk driver parks against van - on two wheels 

Daniel Hawkins of Plymouth was banned from driving after drunkenly parking his car with its front wheel resting on a van.

A motorist from Devon was charged with drink driving after leaving his car parked like this - on two wheels, up against a van.

Police arrested Daniel Hawkins after his Vauxhall Astra was found propped with its front passenger wheel lodged against the window of a blue vehicle.

Hawkins, 29, of Plymouth, Devon was found by officers nearby after ditching the car. The incident happened in the early hours of March 29.

Hawkins pleaded guilty at Plymouth Magistrates Court to having almost double the legal limit of alcohol in his blood at the time. He was banned from driving for 40 months, fined £200, and ordered to pay court costs of £85 as well as a £20 victim surcharge.
