Driving licence will now have the Union flag on it to 'bring us together'

As of today (July 09, 2015) all driving licences will include the Union flag

THE DVLA has announced that, from today, all photocard driving licences in England, Scotland and Wales will carrying the Union flag.

Transport minister Lord Tariq Ahmed thinks it will "bring the country together".

As of 2006, European Union driving licences must have the EU flag printed on them.

British driving licences have had the EU flag on them since they came into use in 1998.
